
Barolo DOCG We
It is a game of joints between the different terroirs, combined together to create "us". After aging in large-capacity oak barrels, this Barolo is obtained, representative of the territory and of our way of seeing Barolo: a wine that is both elegant and powerful that can give great emotions.
Grape variety : Nebbiolo sub-variety Lampia and Michet
Origin of the grapes: Cannubi Boschis vineyard in the municipality of Barolo
Vineyards: Guyot pruning (6-8 buds); exposure: South-East vines / ha: on average 5,000; grape production per hectare: 50-55 quintals of grapes; year of planting: 1970 altitude: 250-260 meters
Crushing and destemming, maceration with the skins for about 10 days at a maximum temperature of 29-31 ° C. After racking, the wine is left to age in 500 and 300 liter barrels of French wood (Allier) for about 2 years. It completes the maturation in stainless steel before bottling, without filtration. Aging in bottles horizontally for at least 6 months before packaging and shipping.
Intense ruby red color with barely perceptible orange reflections, intense, composite, ethereal aroma with hints of red fruits still clearly perceptible. Full, warm flavor with harmoniously blended tannins in a delicate and round flavor. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 17-18 ° C in large glasses.
